The painting-workshop "Saint Veronica" was founded in the year 2005, with the blessing of his Eminence Daniel, Archbishop of Iasi and Metropolitan of Moldavia and Bucovina, on the iniciative of the abbot of the Bucium Monastery, Protos. Ioachim Ceausu, and of the iconographer Hierom. Irineu Balan.

The workshop staff is constituted of monks and young iconographers that wish, throughout their life and work, to promote the authentic iconographic art of the Byizantine tradition.
